Prekarisierung. Geschlechterperspektive. Ethik

Abstract

In diesem Beitrag wird die Prekarisierungsdebatte aus geschlechterkritischer Sicht aufbereitet und unter Berücksichtigung der systemischen Prekarität weiblicher Arbeits- und Fürsorgepraxis im Kontext des kapitalistischen Wohlfahrtsstaats vertieft und erweitert. Die Relevanz der geschlechterspezifischen Arbeitsteilung und der Reproduktionssphäre wird unterstrichen, unter Aufnahme internationaler Perspektiven in Forschung und in sozialen Bewegungen. Es folgt eine Reflektion über ideologische, religiöse und ethische Implikationen von Prekarisierung und ihrer Kritik, die mit Eckpunkten biblischer Sozialkritik konfrontiert werden. Schlussendlich wird im Licht dieser Analysen das Profil einer kritischen und sozial profilierten Sozialethik anvisiert.

The debate about precarisation in modern capitalist welfare systems deals with the marginalization resp. social exclusion of employees and the unemployed. Feminist scholars have criticized the androcentrism of several of its assumptions and interpretations and hence the exclusion of relevant dimensions of both, labor and social care. They also investigate how precarious life and working conditions question gender role models. The article resumes the main lines of these critiques. It then reflects on ethical, ideological and religious implications of precarisation and explains the Biblical approach to precarious living conditions as a consequence of Exodus, Covenant and social rights. The conclusion outlines a socially situated, gender aware and critical social ethics in the light of these analyses.
